At a Japanese Kimono and dress making school
Every Thursday I go to Japanese Kimono and dress making school. I’m making a summer jacket from our grandfather’s Kimono fabric. I was going to finish basting today, but not finished it. Because our teacher found a mistake of my made paper pattern before almost finished basting.
When I make paper patterns, I have had to check the length of the sides of the front body and back body parts, and I have had to reduce the difference and correct the pattern.
I didn’t notice it, and Our teacher didn’t point out that she would put in darts.
I reduced the pattern of front body, cut the fabric, took the tailor tacks, and basting again.
August will end soon, am I able to finish sewing the summer jacket in summer season?? lol
