I went to an exhibition of cat works in Beppu city. There were drawings, cartoons and accessories by young artists on display and for sale.
The 22nd of February 2022 is called Cat Day in Japan. The reason is that the number “2” can be read in Japanese as the cat’s meow “meow”.
The artist Zhita, who paints very tasteful cat pictures, was particularly nice.
