When I looking for my made Hakama skirt for women’s Kimono, I found a Kimono of polka dot design. It’s looks like polka dot but Its design is hexagonal pattern. The hexagonal pattern is used on Japanese Kimono design well. Japanese people image from hexagonal pattern of turtles shells. They like to wear kimonos with a turtle shell motif as a symbol of longevity.

And that Obi belt has also polka dot design, but its design is bells. In Japan, the sound of a bell is thought to ward off evil. This kimono combination can be seen as a protection against evil and a wish for a long life.
