Kawamichi Oita daily report

I go to a dressmaking school. I’m sewing summer jacket from Japanese Kimono fabric which was my grandfather’s fabric for summer Kimono. I don’t have enough experiences of dressmaking, so there are many things I do not know.
When I sewed a shirt before, I used dressmaker’s tracing paper for the mark. This time I wanted to try to mark of Tailor tacks. And our teacher gave me an advice “if you want to make it more seriously, I recommend that you try basting”.
So I’m trying basting.
